Purpose of the Program :
The project aims to recycle unused wheelchairs in the community, redistribute them to people in need after cleaning and repair, promote resource reuse, and reduce the financial burden of people in need.

Recycling Point Roles and Responsibilities :

• The collection point allows its members or service users to register wheelchairs that are no longer needed , ensuring these resources can be redistributed efficiently.
• The recycling point needs to assist in recording the basic information of these wheelchairs (such as model, condition, etc.) in the Excel spreadsheet provided so that the recycling itinerary can be arranged uniformly every day.

In order to maintain the sustainability of the plan, controlling transportation costs is an important part. Therefore, the wheelchairs need to be temporarily stored in the recycling store until they arrive. Our transportation colleagues will collect them in batches according to regional conditions and send them to the cleaning center to reduce the logistics burden and improve efficiency.
